I just installed, as per the directions I found here, TntMPD 2.0 r39 in a Win98 bottle for CrossOver 7.1. After sucessfully installing it, I select the option to run TntMPD now. It does, and works just fine...until I close the program. When I go to the program menu in CrossOver to look for the TntMPD shortcut, there is none. I refresh the program list and still nothing. I even rebuild the program list and no shortcut. What is the deal?

I went to the bottle folder on my hard drive and found the program files for my bottle with TntMPD in it and found the .exe file for TntMPD. After double clicking that, nothing happens. What do I do to get a shortcut for running TntMPD on my CrossOver program?

CrossOver Mac bases its Programs menu on the shortcuts which the installer creates in the Start Menu folder of the bottle. It's possible that while the installer appeared to run successfully, it failed to create those shortcuts for some reason.

You can use the File > Open menu or the Run Command dialog to run the program file, while specifying the appropriate bottle. Just double-clicking the .exe in the Finder will attempt to run it using the default bottle. If that's not the right bottle, then the program probably won't work.

That worked! Thanks for the help. My only question is if there is any way that I can make a shortcut so it will be in the program menu for CrossOver. Thanks for your help!

At the bottom of the Run Command dialog, there's a button to save a command to the Programs menu.
