I had such hope reading the other posts, but I've run into some problems.

I'm using crossover mac 7.0.2 and trying to install tntmpd 2.0 r 61 or something like that.
I tried to follow the directions that Troy posted but...

1. While trying to install in a win98 bottle it kept telling me I needed at least win 2000 and wouldn't proceed (at least I couldn't figure out how)
2. It got a lot farther in both win2000 and win_xp bottles. It downloaded most of the required files just fine. Yet it hiccupped in trying to download jet4.0sp8. I kept getting an error that said to check my disk space. Now, I'm not too computer savvy, so I could be wrong but I thought that meant hard drive space - of which I have at least 60GB so that shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps the memory disk space?
   • I also tried downloading the files directly from tntware into the same file and trying to install the whole file but that didn't seem to get me anywhere. I don't think it recognized the exe file to install.

Does anyone have any advice? Is the problem with my computer or the program? (Of course I love my mac and tend to think it is with the program...either way, is it fixable?)

I am running into the exact same problem. It seems to be some sort of problem with the installer not being able to unpack the jet40sp8_2000.7zip. It may be something new that has been introduced in either the latest version of crossover or something new in the installer. I tried installing into every bottle type with the same basic error. I will keep plugging away to see if I can get around it. If anyone else has any suggestions, that would be great.

OK. I was able to get it to work this time by installing in a WIN98 bottle as the instructions specified with IE6 already installed. I had tried that previously but the first time I tried it the TNTMPD installer told me I needed Win2000 or newer but I received the above error. However, I tried it again after hearing of someone else who successfully installed it and this time the installer worked fine in the Win98 Bottle. I'm not sure what I did differently but it did work.
