TNT in linux: runs but get "serious error" message every time I start

I successfully use TntMPD 2.1 r77 using CrossOver Linux Professional 10.2.0 in Linux Mint KDE 12.

The program runs without problems, but I get an error message after typing in my password: "The program control.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." TntMPD does not then close.

This error has popped up for several versions of CrossOver and TntMPD, but it did not use to happen. I cannot remember the last version of either, though. This is not a major problem, but I had not seen anyone else mention it.

I don't have a solution off hand to this, but I do remember that there's a registry key you can set to supress this error message. From what I can tell, the error message is unnecessary.

I'd recommend that you give TntMPD 2.1.81 a try.
