The TinyCAD application itself installs and runs just fine, but its symbol libraries are stored in Microsoft Access database format, which requires that some extra bits be installed in the bottle so they can be read properly.
TinyCAD should be installed in a WinXP bottle, in addition to which, you will need to download and install the Microsoft Jet database engine (Jet40SP8_9xNT.exe). Additionally, you may also need to install Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC_TYP.EXE). Current links to the software at are at the bottom of this post. I installed both components after installing TinyCAD in a WinXP bottle in CrossOver 9.0 on a Mac and was able to load the libraries just fine. I imagine these instructions would apply to the Linux version as well.
I must give credit to both Richard Appleby and Tony Casey, as the information presented here was collected from their postings elsewhere on the subject.
Cheers!
