You can install lots of modules for theWord to increase the content of the program. Modules are available at the main website or you can google "theWord modules" and find several other large repositories.
The new version of theWord allows you to install modules directly from within the program. All of the ones that I tried worked fine except for two of them that were related. They were "Paid" modules that I purchase that required a special key to unlock them. Because they were "multi-file" modules, a temporary ".nfp" file that is necessary during the unlocking process was placed in the wrong location and the unlock procedure failed. Other paid modules that I possess had no difficulty at all.
I worked around the problem by booting up Windows (yuk - I run a dual boot system) and installing the program and all of my paid modules in Windows. I then linked theWord bottle to the .exe file that resides in Windows and everything worked fine. This was easy to do, but unpleasant. If you run Linux only, it could be a minor problem. This only effects PAID modules that you purchase that also happen to be "multi-file" modules. Most have only one file.
