Hi,
By the looks of that log, it spat the dummy (code=c0000005) which I'm lately seeing
closely followed by line 98 (Storage share mode not implemented). My suspicion is this
is may be related to cabinet.dll.so being a bit weird of late in mainstream wine...a
quick check over at wineHQ, I found the following entry ;
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17527
I believe that's a correct assessment -- I can't speak to the 'Universal Extractor' file
mentioned there (I don't own this title) or how to use it, but hey, if it can be done in
wine, you can usually implement a similar procedure in crossover....that said, looking at
the reports there (and remembering CXG-9.0 is based on 1.1.42), I'm not sure how it's
going to work out, assuming you get the patch to apply -- so tread carefully ; backup (archive)
any existing bottle containing this title before patching it...(might be wise)...
...sometimes...repeat, sometimes...(depends on the actual installer/patch file itself), you
can use the native 'cabextract' tool for things like this, but give that tip mentioned on
wineHQ a shot first -- post back if that proves to be a dead end...
Cheers!
