I have tried to run the game in two different ways. When I just click on the "Start the Witcher 2" icon it shows up in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen and then disappears with nothing ever happening. If I go into the bin file then launch via thewithcer2.exe then I get a message saying there has been a serious error caused by a deficiency in wine. I would really enjoy to be able to play this game so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Performance is rather spotty even with wine 1.3.2x. The current version of CxGames is still largely based on wine 1.3.9
So are you saying that there is nothing you can do to help me try and run this game?
