I got the steam version over the break and decided to try installing it on my MacBook since I've been really digging it on my desktop PC.
I'm running Crossover Games 7. something, on a first gen MacBook, so I wasn't expecting much. Upon launch the game crashes with an error about its inability to load pixel or vertex shaders, so I went into the bottle's graphcs tab and diabled hardware vertex shaders. After that the game just crashes without an error message.
I compared the logs from my MacBook with the one found on my PC and it looks like the game crashes right when loading shader stuff, so yeah.
I did some research and found the GMA 950 integrated graphics card has pixel shader 2.0 support and vertex shader 3.0 support, but it's done in software, not hardware. I've also read many conflicting pages about this, so that might not even be true, but I believe the Void has support for as low as pixel shader 1.4 and vertex shader 1.1 so.. yeah.
It's all very confusing, and I still haven't got the game to run.
