"Insert Sims 2 disc"

Downloaded the Crossover 14 day Free trial, installed sims 2, but when i click to run it, it comes up saying "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application". But if you eject the disc an put it back in, it doesn't recognise the disc and asks if you want to install it. i saw a screenshot of my situation on the overview page.

Any solutions?
