Mac OSX 10.5.7

Set by step install manual:

1 -> Put the cd The Settlers 5: Heritage of Kings in the driver and choose express install
2 -> Walk through the install process.
3 -> After install you notice, you cant start the game because of the wrong cd error..(oh no, would it be all for nothing?)

4 -> Dowload the latest game patch and then this part: Confront DRM issues (link to http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/dmca)
via manage bottles --> Advanced --> open c:drive in finder -> brows to to Ubisoft\bluebyte\the settlers\bin\settlershok.exe)

5 -> Go to manage bottles and to the settlers bottle. --> choose controlepanel tabblad and then winecfg. And add settlershok.exe in the list (windowsversion xp)
6 -> Apply and exit the screen.
7 -> Now you can start the game by go to programs --> ubisoft --> bluebyte --> settlers --> Play Game!

There are some known issues with graphics glitches (thats why silver). I dont have a solution for that one at the moment.

If you have problems with starting the game (crashes), throw away your Settlers game profile in your home directory.
When Starting again a new profile will be created and it should run again.

but at my mac mini, leopard, it doesnt work. Each time i open it, an error appears whith a content like this:

At the application "settlershok.exe" are appearing some errors and has to be shut down...

i made all of your steps, but it still doesnt works. maybe you could help me.

Thats wierd, did you try deleting the profile in your homefolder and then deltete the bottle and express install the game again?

Thats because of the cd protection. There is a way around, but Confront DRM issues (link to http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/dmca)
