I'm using CX Games 8.1.4 on Snow Leopard and have a german Steam setup. MISE starts in italian - even when i change the steam interface language to something else. Any idea?

That one's new to me. I expect that Mac OS X itself is configured to use German for its language, right? In System Preferences, on the Language & Text pane, on the Formats tab, what is set for the Region pop-up? CrossOver generally only detects your locale properly if that is set to one of the presets that the OS provides. If you customize the formats, CrossOver can get confused.
