The Retro Expansion - DLC pack for RACE 07 Forum

Although the extra 'retro' cars added by this DLC are welcome additions
to Race07, the included hillclimb track is the real pearl in this update.
I highly recommend it =)

This DLC does work good, but like all Simbin titles currently the online
play functionality doesn't work, and you can't save car setups. So...

..for the past few years, I've been locked in this never ending dual against
the AI .. which is OK really in these titles, 'coz the AI is very good and
somewhat of a challenge once you set AI capabilities to 110% or better (in fact,
the AI gets downright evil at this level =) However, it's one thing to go
round & round the same track, trying to hit every apex perfectly -- but like
dragracing, with hillclimbs you only get 'one shot' to get it right, and it's
just that little bit more intense pressure not to stuff-up because you're racing
the clock, and most clocks don't make mistakes.. =)

...I'll load up 3Dsimed and catch you over on that forum in a bit...

Thanks Don, I mostly drive against the AI in rF too (usually at 100 percent), and compared to other sims, if you turn their Aggressiveness level way down, I think they're pretty ok (almost human-like and not driving right through you). Plus, you can adjust their speed etc. on a per-track basis, which is a bonus too.
