TMG7.04 installs in CrossOver 13.0.1 with the fonts all showing as they should after a small additional step: see below. This was done in LinuxMint13 which is based on Ubuntu Precise 12.04. I did this in a newly created user account with the .bin frossover file installed for that user alone.
This was installed using the CrossTie noted as "The Master Genealogist 7". This will install the UK version tmg7uksetup.exe but you can select another installer file such as the US one which iw tmg7setup.exe, or alternately one on your hard disk which avoids the delay in downloading.
After install TMG704, when you run initially you will probably see no fonts in the various views but to rectify this do the following.
In Crossover lick > Install Software and add "Windows OLE components" from Service Packs & Upgrades in the same bottle after that the fonts will appear when you restart TMG. It is likely that Crossover will tell you that the TMG bottle is incompatable for OLE installation. So, do:
Crossover > Manage Bottles > Control Panel > Wine Configuration > Application Setting and change the default Windows Version to Win98. Click Apply -VERY IMPORTANT. Do not close Wine Configuration.
You will then be able to install the OLE components which require Win98. When this is installed set the Windows Version back to WinXP.
Now TMG704 should show all the fonts.
When you run TMG for the first time, you may like to create a log file (under Debug). If the program does not run properly look for lines beginning "err" to get an idea what is wrong.
As far as I could see TMG7 was working as expected.
I've worked out how to install TMG8 in Crossover see the post:

;msg=150410 I will check this in the latest crossover when time allows.
