Low fps in Skyrim in crossover 16.2.5

I have been playing Skyrim for a long time on crossover 15.3.1 but after recent steam updates I had to update crossover to 16.2.5.
Skyrim used to work flawlessly, fps wise,
Even though I used a lot of mods but after this recent update the game seems somewhat slow, it feels as if my computer has trouble running it even thought it worked perfectly before.
Is there any way to stop this slowness?
My specs
Mac OS X 10.10.5
8gb ram
Nvidea GeForce gt650m
Resolution 1400x900
