Skyrim "Not enough memory to run application"

I had no problems playing skyrim before but now i keep getting "Not enough memory to run application" error. I've tried lowering the resolutions and graphics. I also tried opening the registry and changing the "VideoMemorySize" to 512 and 1024 and neither worked. Anyone got any suggestions? I have MacBook Pro retina with NVIDIA Geforce GT 650m and 16GB memory
