The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Forum

Hello there.
Today is my first day with my Mac and I'have installed Crossover and Skyrim.
I open Steam client, select Skyrim and press Play.
It starts normally and I choose New. Immediately it crashes and exit to Steam.
I have a 5k iMac and I've probed a lot of resolutions. If I select a 1920x1080 it shows a black windows and doesn't start.
My graphic card is a AMD Radeon R9 M395X but in Skyrim preferences I can only select ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT.
If I try in windows mode I can see the introduction but when I try to move the mouse It crashes.
Please, can anyone help me?.

I've changed my monitor resolution and It starts whit introduction video, but my character is next to truck and not in.

It crashes in two minutes...

It does the same for me. I'm running on a 5K mac as well, but with the R9 290 video. I set my resolution to 1920 x 1080 and tried running it in a window. I was able to play a few minutes longer, but then it crashes and exits to steam.

I feel like you have to start a lot of the graphics settings on low when you just start a game. After a few minutes of starting the game with medium graphics and a resolution one or two higher the 1080, I saved and left, and was able to come back and get the 3200x1800 i believe at high, with taking antialiasing down (don't think you need it since you can't see pixels. I also am now realizing I never tried turning down antialiasing till after, so it may have worked the first time if I did that)
