If You're Experiencing Popping Sounds Try Swapping Audio to 96,000Hz

If you're still having audio popping/garbling issues tied to SkyRim's "Effect" (Adjust the Effects volume fader in game), try setting your MacBook Air Speakers to 96,000Hz via the Audio MIDI Setup application (Search for it via Spotlight). Untested if this works for Headphones. I don't take any credit, found this solution on a Reddit thread. Tested on my M1 MacBook Air, Crossover 22.1.1, MacOs 13.3.1.
