Hi,
I'm on an M1 Macbook Pro 2022.
I installed Skyrim SE using the crosstie and Steam.
For some reason it will not detect my video card, and when I attempt to configure the settings, I only get Windowed Mode (which is extremely tiny), or if I turn that off, then the game screen is way too big and I can't see most of the content.
Ideas?
After a bit of research, it appears the issue stems from the native 16:10 screen ratio in the newer M1 Macs. I was able to resolve it by obtaining SwitchResX, which allows me to create a 1920 x 1080 screen setting (a 16:9 ratio, which Skyrim needs).

The Skyrim launcher is pretty weird about aspect ratio. If you check off "Windowed Mode" , you can then change the aspect ratio to 16:10. After selecting the correct aspect ratio, you should be able to then uncheck "Windowed Mode" to return to full screen mode. The resolution will probably revert to something weird like 800x500, but you should then be able to set it to 1920x1200 or similar.
