The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Forum

I've just installed the Steam version of Oblivion:GOTY with all of the official expansions. So far, the game runs almost flawlessly with most settings turned to high. However, the only problem I've encountered is that the water is pink. I've tried turning off all of the water effects, and have played with some of the other settings, but nothing seems to work. The water remains pink. Has anyone had this problem?

I'm using a Macbook Pro with NVIDIA Geforce 8600M 512, OS X 10.6.4 with the most recent graphics update.

I seem to have fixed the problem. I think that it was due to the water shaders being turned off by default in the rendererinfo.txt. I made several other tweaks to the oblivion.ini file too, so it may be something else. At any rate, problem solved and the game runs great so far, withe most settings maxed.

Did you have any trouble initially trying to launch the game? I have installed the Steam version of Oblivion GOTY and have the launcher displayed. However, the mouse cursor disappears whenever it goes in front of the launcher window...

Any suggestions?
