Lag and Messed Up Textures

Hi. I recently installed oblivion. It installed correctly, and I installed it straight from the disc. I am playing fullscreen (When I try windowed mode it says there was a massive error) and whenever I look at an npc, object, or pretty much anything other than the ground, I get huge FPS lag spikes, and the textures look messed up and gray.

Can anyone help me with this?

Here are some pictures of what it looks like:

Hello and welcome to the forums,
Could you provide a little more information please.
For a start what version of mac os are you running and on what hardware ?

Oh sorry about that. I'm on Crossover 8.1.4 running Mac OS X 10.6.2. I am on a Macbook Pro 13'' with 4 GB RAM and 2.53 MHz.

Hope this helps.

Also, not sure if this helps, but when I click on configure bottles, both of my bottles, steam and oblivion, say initializing and have the spinny thing that says "Please wait while Crossover Games gathers information about this bottle". How can I fix this? I can't do anything with the control panel, so I really don't have control over this bottle anymore. Here's a pic:

Hello,

I am having this same problem as well. I have a MacBook Pro, 15'' with Mac OS X 10.6.2. I am running CrossOver Games 8.1.4. 2 GB RAM, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. The graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.

The initializing problem or the texture problem?

The texture/lag problem.

Can anyone help??

Believe it or not, I got the game running on mine too. I have Mac 10.4.11 with NVIDIA Geforce 7300 GT, 2x2.66 GHz Dual core intel and only 1 GB of RAM. I am having the same problem as the above. Somewhat laggy near objects and large grey spots and miscolored spots. It's worse near lighs and flames. I'm sure if someone could solve it on mine then it would sure fix their newer systems.
