See about this in the tips&tricks
http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=2407;tips=1
the tips and tricks talks about the use of a cracked .exe to remove the disk check but this will not help as it is the installer checking during the installation proccess. I can only assume the people who have installed this did so with a copy of the game with the securom removed from a cloned disk.
I installed in Vista in VMware then CD crackedit, then copied it over and it ran fine
is there a way to apply the cd crack in CxG or do you have to take the win-in-emulator route?
Yes - copy the patch file to the program install dir inside
the CXG bottle. Use cxsetup (or cxbottlemanager) to run a
command in that bottle -- point it to the patch executable,
and run it.
