Hey Guys,
I have some problems with this game.
I have installed the Oblivion Goty with Steam in a new Bottle.
After the Download finished, i can start the Oblivion launcher.
But when i push the Play Button, the launcher closed and nothing happened.
The Bottle:
Crossover HTML Engine
Flash Player 10
Direct X
Microsoft XML Praser
Microsoft XML Praser 3.0
Steam
My System:
MacBook Late 2009
Intel Core2Dou 2.00Ghz
4096MB DDR3
Geforce 9400GT
120GB OCZ E SSD

This happens to me too. I don't really know how to fix it. After trying a few times it starts. I sometimes have to try up to 5 times.

Did you go over some of the tweaks in the tips section here?
I run the linux version myself, so if it's a mac specific issue I probably won't be able to help.
Does steam also close, or is it just the popup that vanishes?
Make sure that you disable In-Game Steam in the Steam settings. This fixed the problem for me!
