Few remaining glitches fixed in CXG8

Now that version 8 of CX Games is out, I can say that some of the remaining glitches with Morrowind, if not all of them, are now fixed, namely the world map and character paperdoll window in the inventory screen. Performance also seems slightly improved. I am running the GOTY edition with several dozen mods installed. You mileage may vary.

Clocknova, how do you install mods in Crossover????? I only want to use three or four but putting them in Data Files doesn't seem to do anything.

I install them the same way I do in Windows: mostly by putting them in the data folder. Are you sure that you are starting the game from the launcher and not launching the app directly? The launcher will give you the option to activate the mods you want.

I can open the Launcher window, which shows MW, Trib and BW esm Master Files, but I can't figure out how you load mods, drop & drag sure don't work. I only have three esms I want to use, but I'm missing something!
Thanks

I agree with Clocknova - the latest release appears to have fixed the game entirely on my Mac. Even the swimming lanes have disappeared and the game does seem that bit more sprightly. Well done to the Codeweavers and Wine development folk!

I was wondering if Clocknova could give us a detailed run through of where to, first, download the appropriate mods, and then, second, how to install them. I am having some troubles. Thanks!

I get almost all of my mods from planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com. They install exactly as they would in Windows; you either manually place the files in the Data folder, you use whatever expansion program you use to automatically place them there, or the mod is in the form of an executable that will do the job for you. Then you lanuch Morrowind with the launcher and enable the mods yourself, then play the game. Seriously, there is no trick to it. It works the same as it does in Windows.

Does anybody else have issues with the framerate while playing this game? If not or if so would you mind posting some system specs?
