The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Forum

I have the GOTY edition from Steam. This doesn't include Siege at Firemoth and I'd like to add it to my game. If I was running it under Windows, I'd simply put the new files in the Data directory. But I am new to Crossover and know too little about the mechanics to bring this off on the Mac. Can somebody start me down the road? :) Thanks!

The sticky post at the top of this forum has the procedure you need to follow - treat this like installing a mod, but substitute “data files” where you see “mod” and it should be immediately obvious where to go once you have the relevant folder open in Finder.

I did read that sticky, but I'm afraid I got stuck on the first part: "Open CXG, select Configure>Manage Bottles from the Menu Bar." That is, I couldn't find either a CXG. I guessed that was a reference to Crossover itself and checked the Configure menu but didn't find a "Manage Bottles" option. Perhaps this dates from an older version of Crossover? (I see the sticky is six years old.)

I'd be grateful for any help you can offer.

Ah. Got it. I got distracted by what didn't seem to match my version ... but then highlighted the Steam bottle and found the rest came naturally. Thanks!

"CXG" refers to CrossOver Games, an older fork in the road of CrossOver tuned for gaming specifically - which has since been merged into CrossOver itself. Glad you figured out what you needed to do.
