Morrowind Graphics Extender and other 3rd party apps

Is there any way to get any of the third party enhancement apps to work alongside Morrowind? I'm referring specifically to apps like Morrowind Graphics Enhancer and Script Extender. The last version of MGE required .Net to function, which I was not able to install, but the latest version does not seem to require it. I was not, however, able to get it to run. Has anyone tried getting these apps to function along with Morrowind? Is it even possible to do this with Crossover?

A little research indicates that the new version of MGE does in fact require .Net 2.0. Can this be installed into a Crossover bottle?
