This game actually runs pretty well for me, but the performance is lacking compared to running it in Windows. It's quite playable so long as you don't add many mods, but I'm used to running it with well over a hundred of them. Of course, it never ran that well in Windows, either, as it is one of the most poorly optimized games in history. Still, is there any hope that we can expect performance to increase with updates to Crossover Games, or is this as good as it's going to get?
Well, we're not putting any effort into improving support for this game specifically. However, there is (hopefully) constant, incremental improvements in both compatibility and performance. Depending on the cause of the poor performance, it's also possible that improvements to the OS/drivers will help.
