Version 2.01.3 does'nt work here. After the Startscreen (bat), nothing happen.
Under splash screen is dialogue with a question what of application should be used for work with files msg and vcf. It is necessary to pull out this dialogue from under splash screen and to answer an asked question.
I'm using TB! v2.04.7 with CO under Xandros and I wouldn't say it works practically ideally. It works yes, but there are several issues that need addressing.
Apart from the toolbars and glyphs not displaying properly, the main program interface works tolerably (well tolerably for me but it depends how much you want perfection straight off!) but when you go to more in depth features like templates or resizing columns by dragging the headers across it doesn't .
Also I cannot make the program stay maximised on a screen. Whenever I switch to a different desktop screen to do something else - like I have done now to write this message, the TB! window has shrunk to its smaller size and has to be maximised manually again when I switch back. It also loses the menu bar view when maximised and this can only be restored by making the window smaller and larger again. These are more of an annoyance than a problem but need to be sorted before we can claim the program works properly.
Today a have tested TheBat 2.04.7 with CrossOver 3 beta 4. Mazimized windows works fine so switching to another application and back to TheBat works correctly.
Issue with "enter" key and standart templates not fixed, but editing quick templates works fine with "enter" key.
That's good news Andrew. I'm still using CO2 as that's the one that Xandros installs via the Xandros Networks installer. I'm not sufficiently experienced in Linux yet to know how to install the later builds. Everything I've installed is via XN.
Just download latest version. Make file executable chmod u=+x and then launch it. Everything after that will be pretty simple.
