TextPad is very usable. The one major disappointment was not being able to get the tools to work - running outside programs against the file being edited. (This works in TextPad running on Odin in OS/2, so I suspect some tweeking might get it there. BTW, more elements work with crossover/wine than with odin.) It looks very promising.
