Exactly what happens when you try to open Terraria?
I was able to open Terraria 1.3.0.1 by installing it into a new bottle. If you're using OS X, then you can accomplish this by doing the following:
In CrossOver, choose Configure → Install software… from the menu bar.
Select Terraria in the list of applications.
Expand the Will install into… section.
Select New Windows XP bottle and then name the new bottle "Terraria 2".
Press Install.
Complete the installation processes.

Yes, i install it the same way! I tried to play, but it crashing after i clicking "Play"((
it needs msxml3 and .net 4.0 but I think when you install .net4.0 it mostl likely will install msxml3 ass well because otherwise .net4 won't install.
Update:
I own the GOG.com game so I checked the game and install, the recent crosstie works fine (steam version).
With clicking "play" you mean ingame? What are your system specs? Mac? Linux? What gfx card? if Mac, what OSX version?
Reason why: The game crashes on my lowend Intel HD4000 Mac as well (out of adapter memory) which means it cannot run it unfortunatly on that system. The game launches and plays fine on my Nvidia 512mb GFX iMac. So it may be the hardware as well that it cannot run the updated version....
