Terraria Freezes (Steam)

We run Terraria in a Steam Bottle on a newer mac mini with Yosemite. If we try to exit the game from the main menu by clicking EXIT the Terraria game will freeze and it must be force quit. We can quit the game from the main menu bar without issue. Used to work on the older version of crossover. Anyone else having this issue?
