i can't find them, when i search crossover or steam, all it comes up with is the games list. i want the actual gamedata, and i can't find that. all i had to do on my older macbook pro was search steamapps.

~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games
To complete what Stefan started:
~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games/Bottles/(bottle name)/drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps
(where "~" means your home folder)
really strange, there's no crossover games in application support. did I install it incorrectly? i assume by home folder you mean Macintosh HD.
No, the home folder is not the Macintosh HD. In Unix directory name, the home folder is /Users/<username>, where '/' is the Macintosh HD(or rather, the root directory). Your home folder is the folder shown when you open a new finder window. I do not know how it is exactly called in the Finder Window, here in my German MacOS version it is "Orte -> stefan", where "stefan" is my username. So in the english version it is most likely "places -> <username>" in the left sidebar.
new problem, crossover games identifies the mods that i dowload as documents, and says there are no programs that can open it. the mod is smod tactical, it worked on my old machine.
