Method of installation:

1. after download, I created a new bottle "sys-shock"
2. install from commandline "setup.exe –lgntforce"
3. When prompted, install the Indeo drivers.
4. After installation, the install screen did not quit for me - I had to kill it
5. Download SS2Tool_v2.7.exe and run it from commandline - this is going to ask u a couple of questions about resolutions, etc. I recommend u keep resolution at 800x600
6. Download ddfixG.zip and unzip into your SS2 install folder. Also download DDFix-Shock2.zip and copy the Shock2.exe inside it to ur SS2 install dir and rename it shock2.exe (or edit ur shock2.exe in a binary editor and insert ddfix.ddl inside - u can read about this in the ddfix guide)
7. Download the rebirth mod and shtup mod and unzip then in ur SS2 install directory.
8. edit ur config files:
   cam.cfg : change resolution "game_screen_size 800 600"
   add "safe_texture_manager"

shock.cfg: "screen_size 800,600"
u can also change "hardware 1" to "hardware 0" (see what works)

ddfix.ini :
gWidth=800
gHeight=600

8. run ur game
   taskset -c 1 /home/user/cxgames/bin/wine --bottle sys-shock --check --wait-children --start "C:windows/profiles/All Users/Start Menu/Programs/System Shock 2/System Shock 2.lnk"

change the name of ur bottle or the System Shock2 shortcut appropriately.

Followed these instructions and the game works, but it crashes so much it renders it unplayable.
