for starters, the application installs perfectly, so known not to work does not fit the bill here. I start the program, and it runs fine. Just only one problem, All the transparent areas give a garbled up mess of an appearance and the sidebar buttons have no text on them, though they do indeed function. In other words, it can be usable but very hellish to use in this state. Thus why I chose bronze.

I had a look at the loadout of this app for you - try the following...
Install the following runtime dependencies into the same bottle as synthmaker;
CoreFonts -- http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=6959
Platform SDK Redistributable: GDI+ -- http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=8227
The first package is available in the 'Runtime Support Components' area of the
cxinstaller GUI, and the other package is in the 'Community Supported Applications'
area (or install them via crossties on the above C4 pages). That seems to clear
up a lot of the app's fufu....

now everything is visible except the text on the sidebar buttons, but now nothing is functioning, or at least it doesn't redraw. This is a serious issue. Are there anymore dependancies, such as ones needed for gdi+
