I feel like a newbie. Installing the application gets the game kinda working, once in a virtual desktop and not full screen, but only for that one time. Subsequent sessions need the same installation to occur. Maybe I'm missing something.
The virtual desktop gets the game running and mostly playable, but without sound. I need to tinker to see if I can do anything with that. Running in 11.2.0 Crossover Mac has graphical glitches when running with high effects and high blur levels.
And now I can't even get that far, having upgraded to 12.1.1.
I must work harder. Then I can squid harder.
Okay, so run the installer. Whilst the game is installing, manage the bottle and set the virtual desktop, so that you are not running full screen. From there, quit the bottle. The game won't run quite yet.
Then run the game from the Squid Harder.exe again, and this time choose to install it in the already configured bottle. The virtual desktop will appear, and the game will run in the window. This has to be repeated each time the game needs to be run, but once running it will stay running.
I still have no sound. I'll have to work on that.
