Installing into a Win2000 or XP bottle under 6.2.0 has the installer quit prematurely. I've tried to install S&T separately at /Streets/MSMap. But alas, it installs "successfully" but once you run it, it will give errors about map templates and quit.

I just ordered a Mac Book. I have Streets and Trips 2008 with GPS locater which is still in the box.

First of all, is Codeweaver the way to go with my new Mac Book to be able to run some windows apps?

No, for maximum compatibility you should run VMWare Fusion. Short of applications that require specific hardware it can run S&T 2007, and I assume 2008. Of course for the real Windows experience you should install Boot Camp and run Windows natively.

Tried again with 6.2.1. No can do.

The package will not install using the default installer.

1. The Microsoft Text-To-Speech component (/Streets/MSMap/Redist/MSTTSEng_21) installs successfully
2. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (/Streets/MSMap/Redist/DotNexFX) does NOT install
3. Microsoft Streets & Trips 2007 core (/Streets/MSMap/data.msi) will install successfully.

However, without .NET, the program will run and after ~3 minutes on the splash screen, a window will pop up telling you the map templates are corrupt and the program will quit even if you continue.
