Street Atlas USA 2005

Installed Street Atlas 2005 tonight without GPS or voice on my desktop machine without any problems. Put the data disk files on my linux data disk (not in the fake_windows directory) and the program runs with no problem. I forgot to set proper permisions on the data files directory so the install of data failed the first try. Runs faster than previous versions I had using windows xp. There are some problems with popups not being readable but did not effect overall operation of the program. Made up a trip and printed it out. Did some searches with no problem. Using CrossoverOffice 3.1

I also had success installing it, but the tracking with the GPS does not function properly. I can read the GPS (Serial NMEA0183 compliant), but the map and data displays do not update properly. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking it has to do with Timer events sent to update the screen.
