Performance Regression: Steam can't download multiple games, stop/start downloads with M Sync or E Sync On

Setup

  • Windows 10 64-Bit Bottle
  • Mac Mini M1 16 GB on MacOS Sonoma
  • Crossover 24.0.3

Cross-Ties Install

  • Skyrim Special Edition (default dependencies)

Reproduction Steps

  • Enable DXVK and M-Sync
  • Start and then try to queue up multiple downloads
  • Try to alter download queue by clicking download now
  • Downloads Freeze
  • Close Apps and disable M-Sync and E-Sync
  • Reload Steam and see downloads progress
