New Guide For Installing Steam! (Crossover 24.0.5)

So here are the new Guides for Installing Steam on Codeweavers Crossover 24.0.5! They are in both written form at Radio Kaos Blog or in Video Form on YouTube

Here is the written guide from the Radio Kaos Blog Article

New Guide For Setting Up Steam!

So, with the newer update of Codeweavers Crossover 24.0.5, it was time to get a new Installation guide for Steam in terms of how the Application had changed! And thanks to Codeweavers, the process is now fewer steps than in my previous guides for Installing Steam. So, here is a basic guide over in video form for the Installation Process!

Now, here is the written process for Installation :

1) Install Steam via the preset in Codeweavers

-The setup for installation should appear like this, it will include the neccessary steps in the process, including the fonts

2) Install the 64-bit Dependencies Package into Steam

-Guide below showing how to find the correct Application to Install, along with the installation setup.
64-Bit Dependencies

Select "Steam" to Install the Application into

The Installation Setup Screen

3) Now, take care of the Bethesda Audio Override. The Bethesda Games in need of missing files on Steam include Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 3, Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Doom 2016, and Doom Eternal, are all among the Bethesda Games Covered by this procedure.

4) Install DXVK components. For Direct3D11 files and compatibility issues regarding Mac OS, especially with more recent Applications, which are found on Steam, Install DXVK. As these three screenshots show, there are three steps to installing DXVK : DXVK (64-bit dlls Only), DXVK (Upstream), and DXVK (Builtin)

Conclusion
With all of these steps completed, you should have a great time playing Steam Games using Codeweavers Crossover! In conclusion, I would like to invite you to check out the Forums on Codeweavers. Entries for various apps have forums and Tips for getting the Applications to work! I also have additional guides on this blog, for Age of Empires II, Age of Empires III, Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, or some notes on The EA Play Service. Either way, don't just try to play Windows games on Mac OS alone! There's others out there who might have the answers to getting that gaming experience working!
You can follow additional guides for getting Windows applications running on Mac OS over here on my blog : Radio Kaos. You can also follow additional instructional video guides on my YouTube Playlist, Kaos Tutorials. Kaos Tutorials episodes are also available on the Rumble Channel of the same name.
