Hello guys,

every game I installed with crossover and steam did not start the download. It frozen at beginning the download. I can download other games but not the game the bottle is for.

How I proceed:

1. Search a game I got on steam in crossover library
2. Installed it with crossover (installed automatically steam in the bottle)
3. I can log in to steam
4. Started automatically the download in steam
5. The download frozen on beginning download
6. After a few minutes showed the message timeout and the download start again but also frozen

Hello, unfortunately I do not know the answer either and I am dealing with this issue ever since I got Crossover. Furthermore, it sometimes gets even worse and it would not even connect to Steam.
I have contacted the Crossover support team whereas almost every reply I got is: "This issue is odd and it has never happened before" and they just leave me with saying toggle the Steam's advanced bottle setting via Crossover but it just does not work.
Anyway, I hope they consider our problem and actually try to fix it.

I just experienced this download hang for the first time, while troubleshooting it randomly started working after restarting Steam. Not sure if restarting is a reliable workaround, but it worked for me once.
