Hey, I was reading the swbf 2 forums, and it seems that they were mentioning that with some work, they got it to run on mac. My question is, if I download the PC swbf 2 through steam, will it work since steam is a supported application?

...no - crossover's compatibility, here, extends to supporting
the Steam client/games distributions softwares -- the games themselves
available on Steam are mutually exclusive, and either do or do not
run, relative to their own compatibility with crossover/wine. In the
case of the title you mention, it seems like a no go currently in CXG...;
