Playing STALKER via Steam and it looks like this....

I tried putting all the settings for the game on low. Is it because I am playing it through steam? Would it work better from the actual disc?

When something looks like that, you either have to play with your Anti-Aliasing settings or just downgrade your graphics settings in general.
