Unable to paste username and password

I am unable to log into Steam, because there seems to be no way to paste my password into the password field. In the past, I could right-click on the password field and choose Paste, but recent versions of Steam seem to make this impossible; it does not show a Paste option, only Copy and Undo.

Is there a workaround for this?
