Hey,
I just tried out CrossOver on my M2 Max Macbook (Apple Silicon) and installed steam.
The first game installed fine, after that every download I tried gave me "No internet connection" error.
I googled for it, tried the fix with the "CS" in one of the config files - didn't work for me.
I also re-setup the bottle in CrossOver - didn't work. No I got no game at all. Before I at least had one.
How is that possible that one download worked and then afterwards nothing ever worked again?? :D
And it is certainly not a router or server issue. Native-Mac-Steam works fine, CrossOver-Steam also clearly HAS internet connection etc.!
Read something about GnuTLS missing or something about IPv6 issues (which is generally fine on my network so it certainly is a CrossOver problem!) but I don't know how to fix that in CrossOver / Wine... and I don't think I should have to! Because if messing with that is needed, then why should I buy CrossOver and not go via Wine directly? :P
EDIT: No way!!! :D The website "DownDetector" reports a LOT of download issues with steam currently. It might JUST have started that they actually have server issues RIGHT when I tried to download my 2nd game on CrossOver-Steam.... omg... should've played the lottery! Will report back.
Cheers
Patrick
