Any suggestions for a Mac OS Crossovergames user with the following stats:

Mac 15"
8 GB Ram
ATI 6750HD M

To run some Steam games that require OpenGL?

It's crashing, saying that it doesn't support OpenGL. I'm sure it's an ATI deal. So please, any advice? I'm trying to let go of Windows completely :)

Hi,

The Steam client and each game are different applications and may have different requirements. So, it would be nice to know which particular games you are having trouble with. It might be even better to check out those games' forums directly. If some of those games don't have their own Compatibility entry, then this forum might be the best place to discuss it, at least until the entry gets created.

So, to recap: which games? And have you checked their own forums?

I opened a ticket fr support.

Seems Mac OS isn't supporting OpenGL 3.1, so I'm stuck.

This is true - OSX isn't even up to OGL 3.0 yet....I found
this table on the Mac dev channel...see;

http://developer.apple.com/graphicsimaging/opengl/capabilities/

That gives you some idea of where OSX is wrt OpenGL, but, be aware
that any fix/support here has to come from Apple (in the form of
video drivers & libs)...
