Manual installation, how?

According to the compatibility list, Starship Simulator needs to be installed manually. However, I can only find it on Steam and when I click the download button within the Steam bottle, it directly installs the game. So I don't have a separate exe-file I can choose tp be installed manually in CrossOver.

When I then try to run it from within the Steam bottle, I need to select Directx 12 and then tells me that this is not supported on my device or I can select Vulkan, it then tells me I need to install Vulkan before running the game.

Any idea on how I can get this demo to run?

Hi Marc,

We have one good rating from a user who used the DirectX 12 option. It's possible that enabling D3DMetal in the right sidebar is required to get the game running.

Best,
Meredith
