Does this still work for anyone?

Hi all!!

Got a chromebook and looking to see if I can get SC2 to run. Crossover is my most recent attempt at this.

The furthest I've managed to get is the battle net launcher begins to load up (the graphic appears with the games down the right side etc) but before the launcher fully actualises the program crashes and I get a "send bug report to blizzard" type window and the process fails.

Any thoughts on this?

I've also tried installing the "wow build" of crossover as a linux app from here >> https://media.codeweavers.com/pub/crossover/cxlinux/wowbuild/
But no dice, I get a failed installation each time. Something about multiarch support? Tried finding out what to do with that but havn't had much luck.

At any rate my end goal is getting SC2 to run on this chromebook so any advice getting me closer to that would be HUGEly appreciated <3

Wishing you all well,
Alex

This is a very good question, I would also like to know something similar.

I've never tried to do this on a Chromebook - but I'll try to revalidate that it works on my linux (KDE Neon) distribution perhaps this weekend and let you know what happens.

I've never tried to do this on a Chromebook too. but you probably need to figure it out

I have another problem now, I can't finish it https://itechcraft.com/learning-management-system-development/ If there is information on the higher discussion, write[link=https://itechcraft.com/learning-management-system-development/][/link]

I don't have a chromebook to test on, but I did test the latest version beta3 on my ubuntu computer. I had to create a new bottle via the installation of blizzard's battlenet desktop application and then from there install SC2. Once I did that for some reason it did not work on the first try (I would launch it and it would start loading and then the window would minimize itself), but after rebooting my computer it did work. Now, there are some places where it's a bit buggy. If you alt-tab out of SC2 back to your linux desktop and then go back into it, it seems that the mouse no longer works but the keyboard still does.

I was able to play through a full scenario without issues.
