Are you running bumblebee or something else to make the video card switching work?

Hello,

I'm running into a similar problem in Debian Wheezy (with backports kernel 3.16-0.bpo.3-amd64) running on a laptop with Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Core i5-3210M). I was still experiencing this problem before I upgraded the kernel, and before I tried to upgrae the video drivers via smxi (with which I don't think anything new was installed).

I have noticed, however, that I can interact with this window to a limited extent. Mostly, moving the cursor over various parts of the screen will cause various "shadow boxes" to appear, as in this screenshot:

However, there are some 'popups' that appear fully rendered but it seems these will exist only while Starcraft II is downloading:

Hopefully that helps figure this out! I can currently play starcraft very well on my Desktop though that has a nvidia card, so I've still supremely happy with Crossover.

Thanks for all your hard work codeweavers

Sorry for the double post, but at sufficiently large window sized I also get some weird artifacts in the top-right and bottom-right corners of the window:

I am experiencing the same black window when I try to install and run Starcraft II, and so far I have not been able to resolve it. I have studied the Crossover installation instructions (and made sure to include the 32-bit libraries), but so far have had no success. Here are what I believe are the pertinent hardware and operating system details:

OS: Ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit
Computer: Lenovo Thinkpad E540 laptop
CPU: i7-4702MQ (quad core)
Graphics: Intel Haswell Mobile (default on-board)

After installation, I get a Starcraft II icon on my desktop. When I click on it, the Battle.net login screen appears. After entering my login credentials, I get a black window. When I hover the mouse over certain areas, I get certain pop-up windows to appear, but the Window does not appear to be functional.

To further this into layman terms - you need to upgrade your mesa packages to resolve this issue. On Ubuntu 14.04 I can confirm that using the latest Mesa packages from the Xorg Edgers PPA resolves this issue for me on my Intel HD5200 and my Acer C720 Chromebook (which also has an Intel card).
