Did i missed something ? I don't understand ...

Hello,

My starcraft 2 install has run without any problem, but after the install of the game, starcraft 2 tried directly to launch the blizzard updater and this one made everytime an error, the message is this one :

Blizzard Downloader.
The application couldn't be executed for some reasons. Please close all applications and try again.

So i close all the bottles that are on and then launch back SC2, and always the same problem.

I've installer the HMTL engine for ie6, so normally it should apply the patches.

My OS is open suse 11.3 and here is the content of my bottle.

If someone could help, i'm a newbie on the linux environnement.

Content of my sc2 bottle :

Analyseur XML Microsoft.
Hotfix pour windows XP KB915865.
Internet Explorer 6.0.
Microsoft International Domain Names Mitigation APIs.
Microsoft National language Support Downlevel APIs.
Microsoft outlook Express.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistribuable x86 9.0.30729.
Microsoft XML Parser 3.0.
Crossover HTML Engine.
msls31.
Paquet redistribuable Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.
Starcraft 2 Wings Of Liberty.

Should i re'install the whole thing in a win vista bottle .

Thanks for your help

You're not alone with this problem.

I'm having it aswell on ArchLinux x64.
Did have the game running with 9.2, but I do remember that I had problems with the updates.
Just can not remember how I fixed it back then...

Anyhow, please tell me if you solve the issue.

I just remembered...

In archlinux I installed the libjpeg6 package and the 32 bit compatibility layer for it (lib32-libjpeg6).

I have no idea how to do this on openSUSE though.
