Star Wars: The Old Republic Forum

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Crossover. Installed the Community supported build of SWTOR then replaced the Star Wars folder with an updated copy of the game from a windows computer. I even downloaded the swtor_fix.exe file and placed it in the c drive as suggested. Opened up the suggested ports on my router and firewall and made sure that IE wasn't using a proxy server to connect. With all that being said, I'm still receiving the 208 error. Any suggestions to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

3.4 GHz Intel i7
2011 iMac
4GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024MB

sorry its me again ...

the editing of the launcher.settings file fixed it (look in post: Problem with the launcher)

well lets see how far i get now 😉

The only thing I have been able to do to fix this is start up my old Windows computer, which has SWTOR on it, completely update the game, and copy its directory over to my Linux machine. Yes, this sucks, and I'm guessing it is one of the reasons why the game is marked as "known not to work."
