I'm having trouble getting SWTOR working on my new MacBook Pro 15" (Late 2013) with the 2GB NVIDIA GT 750M. It used to work perfectly fine on my iMac Late 2009.

I load up the swtor_fix.exe then open the launcher app (all from the C: drive). I see the outline of the client for a mere second before it vanishes. The SWTOR icon appears in the dock for a moment and vanishes at the same time.

I've tried the regedit addition from the tips and tricks section but that didn't seem to help.

Anyone got any ideas to help?

Basically it isn't CrossOver it's the launcher which they are looking to try and patch ASAP but with no specified drop day. So if you're lucky enough to have a new MacBook Pro with the latest Haswell Processor, don't expect to be able to play SWTOR in BootCamp, Parallels or Crossover because it just won't work until the patch is dropped.

Sounds a bit like a race condition in the Windows game/launcher code that is worse on a quad core than a dual core. On Linux and Windows you can set the CPU affinity to one core to work around such issues. Unfortunately MacOS doesn't offer any way to do the same.
